Our History

Henry Morgan Opticians has provided top quality professional eye care in Highams Park since 1931.

Henry Morgan had served a five-year apprenticeship with Batemans Opticians in the City and studied at night school achieving his professional qualifications in 1929.

Philip Morgan, the current Principal, joined the practice in 1979, his commitment to the highest professional standards of service and clinical skills built on the foundation stones of the past and set new standards for the future.

The practice relocated to its current premises in The Avenue in 1984 to accommodate the continued demand that this forward thinking philosophy generated. The refurbishment and reinvestments of 1997 and 2004 established the ultra high-tech, practice which today provides state-of-the-art eye care fit for this new millennium.
